RESOLIS days

What are the RESOLIS days?

The RESOLIS solidarity days took place on 12,13 and 14 September 2014 in Saint Marcel de Félines.

They aim to bring together associations, scholars and specialists, local players and companies around a programme with conferences, testimonies from workers in the field, cultural activities and relaxing moments.

For their first edition, the RESOLIS days chose to develop the theme of solidarity around several key points: Territories and Solidarity, Companies and Solidarity, Altruism and Solidarity, Health and Solidarity, Work and Solidarity and Agriculture and Solidarity.

The Days were organised by RESOLIS, a non-profit organisation founded in 2010. RESOLIS identifies, assesses and promotes field-based innovations, which contribute to social progress with publications (information summaries, articles and special publications) and meetings with workers in the field. It bases its approach on its Observatory, its Laboratory and the RESOLIS JOURNAL.

“Socially oriented field operations are generous, many are innovative, but knowledge and best practices are not structured or shared enough. It causes considerable damage to their efficiency and to their visibility. With RESOLIS, we want to implement a “science” of field action and apply the golden rule of science, which is to capitalise on knowledge with the publication of validated results. The recognition of the stakeholders and of the impact of their initiatives would be strongly reinforced byiesthis approach” says Philippe Kourislky, founder and president of RESOLIS, Professor Emeritus at the College de France
